Returns
Short version: if I got it wrong, I fix it. If it's a made-to-order piece with your name on it and you changed your mind, I can't resell it — but talk to me anyway.
Stock pieces
Thirty days from delivery, unused and in the condition it arrived, for a full refund of the item price. Return postage is on you unless the piece was wrong or faulty, in which case it's on me.
Message first so I know to expect it. A parcel that turns up unannounced still gets refunded, it just takes longer.
Made-to-order and custom pieces
Anything printed to your specification — a name, a photo, a file you sent, a custom quote — is not returnable for a change of mind. That's what the mock-up step is for, and I won't start a print until you've approved it.
This doesn't limit anything below. A custom piece that arrives faulty or doesn't match the mock-up you approved is my problem, not yours.
Print defects
Layer separation, a failed bond on a multi-part piece, a warped base, under-extrusion, a missed support scar — all of it gets reprinted free, with no time limit and no return needed. Send a photo.
Normal layer texture on a piece listed as a raw print is not a defect. If you want a surface with no visible layer lines, order the sanded finish or ask before you buy.
Cancelling
Before printing starts, cancel for a full refund, no questions. Once a made-to-order piece is on the bed I've spent the material and the machine hours, so cancellation from that point is a partial refund at best — but tell me early and it's usually not an issue.
How to start one
Email hello@boltcraft.net with your order number and a photo if there's something to see. I answer within 48 hours, usually faster.
